Finding the perfect service provider for any project

Created a website to support customers in finding commercial real estate providers.

Overview

Truilgo  is a commercial real estate directory where customers can find service providers in their area. Service providers can also showcase their company’s work, services, and expertise.

The team needed an MVP website for mobile and desktop. Customers who own commercial real estate need a way to find plumbers, carpenters, painters, electricians, etc. Currently, there are no websites that offer this service. Companies also need a way to showcase their business and services. I created a responsive website where users can easily search for services related to commercial real estate in their area. Service providers can add their listings to the site.

Homepage:
• To inform users of what Truligo does.
• Be able to search for a provider.Provide category linksHas SEO links.
• The ability for potential vendors to add their listings.

Search page:
• Utilize filters (location/category/subcategory)
• Text-based search to display matching services.

Vendor page:
• Display the details of a vendor and provide their contact information.

Add Listing page:
• Potential vendors can submit their company information on the site.

Exploration

I created flows to understand how a user could:
• Search for a vendor in their location.
• A vendor could submit their company on the site.

Next, I explored different visual treatments for the homepage.

Final Design

After several iterations, I designed a layout that made it easy for customers to search or filter out a services and find a vendor in their location.

I also created a flow for potential vendors to request to add their listing to the site.

Logo Design

After I designed Truilgo’s website, they hired me to create a logo for their new company. In initial discussions with my client, we established what was the goal with their new logo. The logo should speak to what makes Truligo different as a company.

Initially, I chatted with my clients to understand their desires and design needs regarding the logo. After researching commercial real estate, I began mind mapping to help me brainstorm logo ideas and connect unrelated ideas and objects.

Rough Sketches & Concepts

I began sketching rough ideas on paper. I aimed to develop as many ideas as possible to explore what could work. For some of these ideas, I incorporated two objects into one design. Examples of these objects were compasses, buildings, maps, and pinpoints.

Final Design

After presenting my first draft of logos to the clients, they wanted to incorporate the letter T. I went through a couple more iterations before I landed on the final design: A T made of the silhouettes of buildings.

This was my first logo design, and each stage helped me and the client see initial crude ideas from the beginning stages to finally a logo representing the company's brand and identity.  Each stage of this process was set up so the client could walk through the creative development of their logo. This reassured the client and made this design process a seamless experience.
